After canceling last year’s Holiday Market due to COVID, the Tuscarawas Valley Farmers Market has announced the return of the annual Holiday Market but in a new location.

The Holiday Market will be held Tuesday, Nov. 23 from 3-7 p.m. at New Towne Mall, just inside entrance A near Ulta Beauty and Shoe Dept. Encore. The new location will provide a more accessible space for both customers and vendors, but the essence of the Holiday Market will remain the same with vendors selling local, fresh, in-season produce for Thanksgiving meals, along with arts and crafts.

The Holiday Market is always held two days before Thanksgiving so shoppers can gather a variety of locally grown and produced items including turkey, beef, chicken, pork, eggs, potatoes, carrots, beets, onions, kale, lettuce, shallots, cabbage, broccoli, leeks, cauliflower, squash, gourmet mushrooms, microgreens, maple syrup, honey, cookies, pies and pie crusts, breads and rolls, buckwheat flour, hot sauce, candied nuts, macarons, wine and more.

There is still time to preorder Thanksgiving turkey through market vendor, The Shepherd’s Market. Preordered turkeys will be available for pickup at the Holiday Market and properly defrosted so they will be ready for immediate preparation. Preorder a turkey online at www.shepherdsmarket.biz or text 330-390-4783. Orders must be received by Nov. 20.

Arts and crafts vendors will sell jewelry, pottery, leatherware, body products, candles, wooden décor, ornaments, heirloom toys, books, baby products and locally made items for stocking stuffers.

Bahler Street Pizza will have their food truck onsite so customers can purchase freshly made wood-fired pizzas. Stay warm with a cup of hot cocoa or apple cider from Missions Café, and Amish Country Donuts will offer their doughnuts for purchase.

There also will be Christmas music performed by local musicians during the event.
